Ymir Valley (ユミル渓谷の探索) is a story quest that occurs during the 서장 "귀향 ~실의의 끝자락에" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II.
Background
The quest is automatically acquired after completing Back in Ymir.
Walkthrough
- Head to Ymir Valley and defeat the monster.
- Head to the End for two battles.
- Return to Ymir for a scene.

- Celine, Toval, Elise, and I resolved to journey through the valley to stop the Magic Knight from getting any closer to the village. We should head out as soon as we're prepared--there isn't a moment to waste.
- Our preparations complete, we began scouring the valley for the Magic Knight. Toval and I agreed that unlike the last time there was trouble in Ymir, Bleublanc doesn't seem to be involved this time. Still, that's no reason to let our guards down.
- If our last battle with it is anything to go by, Toval, Elise, and I aren't going to be strong enough to defeat the Magic Knight unaided. It looks like we're going to need a certain someone's help after all.
- We reached the far side of the valley and fought the Magic Knight. Thanks to Valimar lending us his aid, we were able to emerge victorious.
- After the battle, a blue bird appeared, and Ouroboros' Second Anguis, Vita Clotilde, began speaking to us. Apparently, she's been searching for me and Valimar.
- During our conversation, we heard loud gunshots which came from the guns of jaegers sent by Duke Albarea to capture Princess Alfin. We need to hurry back to Ymir--Princess Alfin's in danger!
- On the way back, Celine told us a little more about Vita Clotilde. Specifically, she said that she's a member of the same Hexen Clan that Emma is from.
- The information she gave us helped make it easier to put things into place. Right now, our top priority needs to be returning to Ymir, though.
- We reached Ymir, only to find my mother and father lying on the ground. I was filled with an uncontrollable hatred towards those responsible and lost control of myself, but thankfully, Elise's voice eventually brought me back to my senses.
- Afterwards, Vita Clotilde appeared and used some kind of lullaby to get the Northern Jaegers to leave. As I was wondering what her true motivations could be, she took advantage of us being distracted to abduct Princess Alfin and Elise--rather, a girl in black who was accompanying her did.
