노르드 고원 탐색 (ノルド高原の探索) is a story quest that occurs during Part 2 of 제1부 "잿빛 전기" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적 II.

배경

The quest is automatically acquired on 12/5, after completing Resting in Ymir.

공략

1. In the highlands, head to the central area and approach Zender Gate for a scene.
2. Travel to the Nomadic Settlement for a battle.
   • PARTY: Gaius joins after the battle.
3. In Lake Lacrima, travel through the north highlands to the northeast highlands.
4. Cross the first bridge for a battle.
   • PARTY: Alisa and Millium join for the battle.

노르드 고원

• 도착한 곳은 고원 남부의 언덕에 있는 돌기둥 무리였다. 영력을 다 써 버린 발리마르를 이곳에 남겨두고, 고원 탐색을 개시하기로 하였다.
• 북쪽《노르드 촌락》이나 남쪽《젠더 문》으로 향하자.
• 정규군과 귀족 연합군의 격렬한 전투를 목격했다. 기갑병이 물러난 쪽으로 가면 정규군의 거점인《감시탑》이 있을 텐데……
• 젝스 중장님을 만나기 위해 우선은 남쪽에 있는 젠더 문으로 가 보기로 했다.
• 젠더 문에서 젝스 중장님과 재회하여, 정보 교환을 하였다. 감시탑은 공화국군과 손을 잡은 귀족 연합에게 빼앗긴 상태. 또한, 어째서인지 고원 전역에 도력 통신이 끊겨 있었다.
• 가이우스가 고원에 와 있다는 정보를 입수했다. 내전을 종식시키기 위해, 마을로 향했다고 한다. 단, 그쪽도 피난하기 시작한 모양이다.
• 젝스 중장님께 받은 말을 타고 고원 북쪽에 있는《노르드 마을》로 향해 가자.
• 마을에는 엽병단《니즈헤그》가 매복해 있었다. 엽병이 불러낸 군용 마수 무리에 둘러싸였지만, 가이우스가 매와 함께 도우러 나타나, 궁지를 모면했다.
• 재회의 기쁨을 뒤로 한 채, 가이우스의 안내에 따라 노르드 주민들이 피난 간 북서쪽 라크리마 호숫가로 달렸다.
• 그 후, 가이우스의 형제 가족과는 재회했지만, 피난처에 있던 알리사와 밀리엄은, 그웬 영감님과 함께 고원 북동부로 향했다고 한다. 도력 통신을 사용할 수 없게 된 원인을 조사하려는 듯하다.
• 최대한 빨리 합류하기 위해, 우리들도 북동부로 향했다. 거상을 지나 산길을 따라 가면 될 거다.
• 고원의 북동부에 도착했다. 주변에 주의를 기울이며, 알리사 일행을 찾아 보자.
• 거대한《환수》에게 습격당한 알리사와 밀리엄── 위험한 순간에 도착하여, 함께 위기를 극복했다. 두 사람과 무사히 재회의 기쁨을 나누었다.
• 그웬 영감님과 무사히 재회하여, 전원이 호숫가로 돌아갔다.
• 아무래도 감시탑에 무언가 있는 것 같다──

Nord Highlands

• We emerged from the Spirit Path in the middle of the highlands' stone circle. Valimar had exhausted his mana bringing us there, so we were forced to leave him behind. With that done, we began exploring the highlands.
• We should probably start by heading either to the nomadic settlement to the north or Zender Gate to the south.
• We ended up witnessing a fierce battle between the Imperial Army and the Noble Alliance forces. What's more, the alliance's Soldats ended up retreating in the direction of the watchtower, which I recall belonging to the Imperial Army...
• We ended up deciding that our first destination should be Zender Gate so that we can get in contact with Lieutenant General Zechs Vander.
• We met Lieutenant General Vander at Zender Gate and immediately began exchanging information with him. Much to our great surprise, we found out the Noble Alliance had stolen the watchtower by temporarily allying themselves with the Calvard Republic. Furthermore, the army is currently unable to use orbal communications anywhere on the highlands.
• We were also informed that Gaius is one of the three Class VII members in the highlands. Naturally, we decided to travel to his home settlement in order to better assess the situation--although we were warned that the people of Nord have already started evacuating the area.
• Lieutenant General Vander loaned us some horses. Time to ride like the wind!
• We reached the settlement, only to be ambushed by the jaeger corps Nidhoggr. We feared the worst when we were surrounded by them and their military monsters, but thanks to Gaius and his hawk's timely appearance, we didn't come to any harm.
• After celebrating our reunion, he led us to Lake Lacrima to the northwest, where the people of Nord are currently living.
• We also met with Gaius' family, but were told that Alisa and Millium, who had also fled to Nord, had just left with Gwyn. Apparently they're in the northeast part of the highlands, and have gone to investigate why orbal communications are jammed within the region.
• Eager to be reunited with them as soon as possible, we decided to head after them.
• We arrived in the northeast part of the highlands. Let's see if we can find them.
• We found Alisa and Millium being attacked by a giant creature called a cryptid. Our arrival didn't come a moment too soon, and together, we were able to defeat it and share in the joy of being reunited.
• We decided to return to Lake Lacrima together. Gwyn seems eager to tell us something about the watchtower.
