Quarrel Arbitration (喧嘩の仲裁) is a story quest that occurs during the 서장 "특무지원과" in 영웅전설 제로의 궤적.

Background

The quest is given by Chief Sergei after finishing Support Requests.

Walkthrough

1. Head to the Downtown District for a battle.
   • BONUS: Before the battle, choose:
     • Reveal your Detective Notebook (+1 DP)
   • BONUS: After the battle, choose:
     • Handle it ourselves (+2 DP)
2. Head to Trinity for a scene.
   • BONUS: When answering Wazy, choose:
     • The wounds on the victim (+2 DP)
3. Head to the entrance of Ignis and speak with the Young Man in Red.
4. Enter Ignis for a battle.
   • PARTY: Lloyd fights alone.
   • BONUS: Defeating Wald before 32 actions pass earns 3 DP. Not losing before the time limit earns 1 DP.
5. Exit Ignis for a scene.
6. Head to East Street and speak with Grace in Long Lao Tavern & Inn.
   • BONUS: After speaking with Grace, speaking to either Kienz in Trinity or Huey in Ignis earns 1 DP.
7. Return to the SSS building and enter Chief Sergei's office for a scene.
8. Head to West Street and approach the Grimwood Law Office for a scene.
9. Enter the Grimwood Law Office for a scene.
10. Return to the SSS building and examine the table for a series of scenes and a battle.
    • BONUS: During the meeting, choose:
      • The presence of Heiyue (+3 DP)
    • PARTY: Choose one between Elie, Tio and Randy to fight the battle with Lloyd and Wazy.
    • BONDING: The chosen partner before the battle will get 15 bonding points.

Notebook

• Received a call from Chief Sergei. He gave us a mission. It appears two groups of young delinquents are on the verge of starting a brawl in the Downtown District. Our job is to deescalate the situation.
• Let's hurry to the Downtown District--it's south of East Street.
• When we arrived, both groups were present and as reported, tempers were flaring. They we're^sic about to fight.
• We identified ourselves as the police and tried to mediate, but they showed no signs of backing down. Instead, they attacked us.
• Afterward, Wazy of the Testaments and Wald of the Saber Vipers, the groups' leaders, appeared and broke up the fight between their underlings.
• They both withdrew, but not before declaring their intent to wipe each other out in one final battle once they're fully prepared.
• But why do the two groups want to wipe each other out in the first place? Let's speak with each of their leaders and hear both sides of this story.
• We spoke with Wazy at the billiards club, Trinity, where the Testaments typically hang out.
• According to them, five days ago, one of their members was jumped by a Saber Viper and was injured so badly, he was hospitalized.
• The victim, Azel, has wounds that appear to have been caused by a nail bat, the weapon of choice for many Saber Vipers. As such, the Testaments believe the Vipers are responsible.
• We went to Ignis, the usual hang-out spot for the Saber Vipers in order to speak with their leader, Wald.
• They claim a similar incident happened to them. Five days ago, one of their own members was jumped by the Testaments and sent to the hospital.
• The victim in this incident was hit by a stone This is consistent with the Testaments' use of slingshots, so the Saber Vipers assumed they were to blame.
• Encountered the Crossbell Times reporter, Grace Lynn, just outside of Ignis. She proposed an exchange of information.
• She's waiting for us at Long Lao Tavern & Inn. Let's hear what she has to say.
• According to Grace, the front for the local mafia, Revache & Co., was seen making some unusual moves lately.
• Less than two weeks ago, some of their members were seen around the Downtown District, disguised in plain clothes.
• What could connect the mafia with both of these downtown gangs? For now, let's return to the SSS and ask Chief Sergei if he has any advice for us.
• Explained to the chief the facts of the case so far. We were charged with continuing the investigation and following all leads.
• Chief Sergei suggested seeking advice from Ian Grimwood, the proprietor of Grimwood Law Office on West Street. He said Mr. Grimwood would also be a good contact going forward, so we should introduce ourselves now.
• According to Mr. Grimwood, an organization called Heiyue recently emerged to rival Revache's hold on the city's underworld. This Heiyue group seems highly influential in the Calvard Republic's Eastern Quarter.
• This'll be tough. Let's take care of our other support requests, then head back to the SSS building to go over all the evidence we've managed to find so far.
• Returned to the SSS, but it seems like the chief isn't here at the moment.
• Let's go over the evidence in a group meeting.
• When we considered the chance a third party was responsible, all signs pointed to Revache.
• Their motive--new recruits for their battle with Heiyue. If the gangs destroyed each other, the mafia could swoop in and recruit the survivors.
• After finishing our meeting, we called Wazy and Wald and explained our reasoning to both of them.
• Around one month ago, they both received an invitation from Revache. It looks like our idea is highly plausible.
• We accepted Wazy's plan. I disguised myself as a member of the Testaments and waited for Revache to strike.
• As we expected, members of Revache appeared and tried to attack me.
• Due to circumstances surrounding the investigation, we couldn't arrest the mafiosos, but we succeeded at clearing the air between the gangs, and putting an end to their fighting.
