Recovering the Railway Guns (列車砲の奪還) is a story quest that occurs during 제5장 "움직이기 시작한 의지" in 영웅전설 섬의 궤적.
Background
The quest is automatically acquired on 8/31, after completing Tour of Garrelia Fortress.
Walkthrough
- Head south to the Barracks for a battle.
- Follow the path to Storage Floor 1 and continue to the other side of the Barracks.
- Head to the Relay Area and continue to the Crossbell Side for a battle.
- Head north and go through the Relay Area to Storage Floor 2.
- Head to the Central Freight Platform and climb to the last part of the Relay Area.
- Climb to the Crossbell Side for two battles.

- 8/31 (Tue) Field Study at Garrelia Fortress - Day 2
- We quickly divided our main priorities between our two groups: Group A went with Instructor Sara to recover the railway gun in the right wing of the fortress and Group B, led by Major Neithardt, moved out to recover the left wing's.
- Our mission was clear--and failure wasn't an option.
- The terrorists had released archaisms into the fortress. One wrong step could have been the end.
- We found one of the terrorists' airships at the airport. When we tried to approach it, though, it self-destructed. Could it have been a trap? (Optional)
- We reached an outdoor area looking out onto Garrelia Canyon, only to come face to face with a large flying archaism, which we took down.
- But we were too late. They fired the railway guns, and we were powerless to stop them... but fortunately, they only fired blanks.
- Grateful for our second chance, we ran as fast as we could toward the railway gun.
- We made it in time and managed to overpower the terrorists controlling it.
- But then S, or Scarlet, made her appearance.
- She told that their operation in Crossbell had been unsuccessful and Gideon had died in the battle.
- As soon as Instructor Sara noticed that the railway gun had been switched to automatic firing mode, Scarlet summoned two giant archaisms and attempted to keep us away.
- By combining our efforts, we were able to defeat her and stop the railway gun from firing just in the nick of time.
- Major Neithardt and Group B were able to stop the other railway gun just in time as well, meaning that together we were able to successfully thwart the terrorists' scheme. Unfortunately, however, Scarlet managed to escape with the help of the other terrorists and flew away with C and V. Meanwhile, terrorists that remained in the fortress used poison to keep us from getting any information out of them.
- What happened there never became public knowledge, but to us, it was a startling wake-up call, showing us how dedicated the Imperial Liberation Front were to their cause...and how serious Erebonia's predicament had become.
