군나르 라이제 아르노르

Gunnar Reise Arnor (グンナル皇子), son of Emperor Valius Reise Arnor V, was the fifth prince of Erebonia during the 10th Century of the Septian Calendar.

In S.947, Gunnar was plunged into a war with the other sons of Valius Reise Arnor V over his succession.

Near the war's midpoint, after Dreichels and Roland Vander took up arms, the two happened upon the remains of a burned town said to have been destroyed by the Gunnar Army, leaving its innocent inhabitants without homes or killed. Roland reported that it was intended to draw out enemy forces who were hiding within. The sight horrified Dreichels, and served as motivation to bring the war to an end as quickly as possible, preventing any further meaningless sacrifices.

With the remnants of his private army, Gunnar decided to join forces with the remains of his half brother Prince Albert's army (after his loss to Lucius in the Battle of Olbia) to oppose the other princes. Over time, he and Albert gained control over Magic Knights. With their power, Gunnar managed to hold off his half-brothers for a number of years. The intent was to assemble a force so large it would compensate for their lack of a Divine Knight, of which all the other armies had one (or two, in the case of the Dreichels Army) in their possession. Initially considered the greatest threat to Prince Orthros, Gunnar's army was eventually decimated by the Vermillion Knight; when the Vermillion Apocalypse emerged in Heimdallr alongside the Infernal Castle in July of S.952, the armies of both Albert and Gunnar were completely annihilated.
