Part 1: Princess Klaudia has asked us to rescue Her Majesty the Queen. In order to do so, however, we'll need to storm the castle. But though our forces have grown in number, a frontal assault is still implausible.
If we could only take our adversaries by surprise...

Part 2: We'll force a landing on the Garden Terrace, then head directly for the Royal Keep.
Whether or not we can secure the queen's safety before the enemy reaches her will spell the difference between victory and defeat.

To Rescue a Queen (女王陛下救出作戦) is a required story quest that occurs during the 종장 "왕도요란" in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 FC. It is a 2-part quest continuing onto To Rescue a Queen 2.

Background

The quest is given by Princess Klaudia after completing Hostage Liberation.

Walkthrough

1. Head into the Grancel Sewers.
2. Head to the part closest to the area marked as "II" in the map and examine the wall at the end of the center path to enter the North Block.
3. Follow the sewers until the exit to Grancel Castle.
   • NOTE: After choosing Wait on standby it's not possible to turn back until Aureole is completed. Report completed quests beforehand.
4. Head into the airship.
5. Climb the south stairs for a battle with Joshua's group and another battle with Estelle's group.
6. Head north for two more battles, and enter the Royal Quarters for another battle.
   • BONUS: Winning the battle by defeating only the soldiers and leaving Duke Dunan up earns 2 BP.
7. Climb the stairs and head to the terrace for a battle. Winning this battle is not required.
   • BONUS: Defeating Lorence earns 3 BP.
