NIS America is a subsidiary of Nippon Ichi Software, Inc. of Japan, which established its North American operations on December 24, 2003. Based in California, NIS America handles operations including localization, marketing, and publishing of Atlus, Gust, Nihon Falcom, Nippon Ichi, Spike Chunsoft, and many other titles.[1]
After localising 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 the 3rd in 2017, XSEED Games stepped down as the English localisor for Nihon Falcom games and was replaced by NIS America.
