Templar Swords (法剣(テンプルソード)) are weapons used by the Gralsritter of the Septian Church.

Background

Templar swords are one of two traditional weapons wielded by the knights of the Gralsritter, the other being the Bowgun.

Although the exact nature of the sword varies from weapon to weapon, they typically consist of a series of bladed segments with a cord running through them, allowing the sword to be changed from a blade like form into a whip like weapon that can be swung around. It is also a common craft to be able to separate the segments from the blade and send them through the air.

Known users

• 리스 아르젠트- a standard arming sword with decoration down the fuller. The blade widens at the tip and the pommel, in place of a crossguard. in 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 the 3rd EVO, the fuller is blue.
• Scarlet - a slender blade resembling Ries', but with a distinct cross guard separate from the blade, and blue down the fuller.
• Celis Ortesia - a large great sword with a wide blade that tapers to a point.
• Rion Balthazar- a rapier
