The Alter Core is a replica of the Oct-Geneses that was used by members of Alter Dawn known as the Vestiges.
Overview
Alter Cores are Orbments with their designs dated back at least 20 years ago. They were designed and created by Professor Latoya Hamilton as a replica of Oct-Geneses. They were provided to the Vestiges for use at some point after this.
The devices have chiefly displayed the ability to displace it's user, or objects around the user in space-time. They displayed the ability to copy the abilities of someone if given a sufficient amount of data on the target's abilities, and to empower existing abilities, like Campanella's Illusions.
