The modern era (現代(げんだい)), sometimes described as the Orbal Post-Revolutionary World (導力革命以後の世界(どうりょくかくめいいご)), is an era in the history of Zemuria that began with the Orbal Revolution in S.1150.

The Trails series take place during this era. The first game, 영웅전설 하늘의 궤적 FC, begins in S.1202.
