Professor Thomson (トンプソン教授(きょうじゅ)) is a scientist at the Roer Institute of Technology.

Professor Thomson is specialised in fluid mechanics. His greatest pride is his work on the design of the Courageous's hull, which allows the aircraft to break through the 3,000 selge per hour mark. It was thought to be impossible, but his diligence and perseverance through countless experiments made the impossible possible.
