다우

Dau (ダウ) is a member of the Woodland Wanderers in Moonless Morn.

Appearance

Dau is a young man who is described as being taller than Chunlan Aisen. He has dark blue hair with a crew cut and a long face which is both handsome and feral. He has a slight tan and has painted his skin with special insulating compound to ward against lightning. He also wears an insulating robe around his waist and has added glass powder and paint to his clothing, which includes a coat of animal furs.

Personality

Dau is a resourceful and quick-thinking individual who is happy to work and befriend new people. he is very brave and resilient, refusing to give in even when heavily injured. he thinks highly of his cousin, Sayu, whom he refers to as his sister.

Background

Dau is a descendant of the Woodland Wanderers. He and his cousin, Sayu, whom he refers to as a sister, act on behalf of the Septian Church to locate and retrieve Artifacts from where the church has little jurisdiction. Dau was acting separately from Sayu until they both converge on the same artifact at White Peak.

Dau has exceptional physical abilities and has mastered Xin, the unique technique of the Wanderers. This allows him more control over the muscles of his body and grants him the ability to slow inflammation, stem bleeding quicker and launch exceptionally powerful blows by focusing his muscles' strength into a single point.

Moonless Morn

Dau comes to the aid of Sayu and Chunlan from a tattooed berzerker with the powers of a geomancer. Afterwards, they team up to achieve both of their objectives. By working with Chunlan and his sister, Sayu, they eventually succeed in their aims after careful strategy and preparation. During the process, Dau is heavily injured but is able to survive thanks to his use of Xin.
