오르바스 알하젠

Orbus Alhazen (オルバス・アルハゼン) is an elderly swordsman living on Remnant Isle, and support character introduced in The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.

Profile

Introduction

A swordsman who lives in the the outskirts of Remnant Isle. He is a skilled swordsman, and since arriving on the island six years ago, he has served as its bodyguard. He is the master of Nayuta and Cygna, and the latter's adoptive father.

Appearance

Orbus appears as a wizened swordsman. He has long black hair tied into a ponytail reaching his waist and a long moustache. He has a scar over his closed right eyes, suggesting he might be blind in one eye. He carries a katana.

Background

Orbus is Nayuta Herschel and Cygna Alhazen's swordsmanship teacher. He moved to Remnant Isle six years from the story's beginning and now serves as a bodyguard on the island. Before that, nothing is known about him. He has taught Nayuta and Cygna and has become a sort of adoptive father to Nayuta.

• Fitting with Nayuta's star theme, Orbus's surname is a reference to influential Islamic astronomer and mathematician Ibn al-Haytham also known as "Al Hazen".
