로건 무가트

Rogan Mugart (ローガン・ムガート), known by the alias, Aurora Phenomenon, is an officer of the Northern Jaegers and a character in The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel: Northern War.

Appearance

Rogan is a middle-aged made with short wavy hair, which is both bright green and bright blue. He has a single scar over his left eye. Rogan wears a variation of the typical Northern Jaeger Uniform, with dark green combat slacks and bright violet armour plates over his chest, arms, and boots. As a corps officer, he also wears a white mantle as a cape.

Personality

Rogan is known to be a radical and willing to engage in armed combat with any opponent. He has a reputation as a warmonger, and leaves nothing in his wake, including monsters, people or vegetation. His actions resulted in the appellation, 'Aurora Phenomenon.' He has the most influence within the corps and is regarded as a new hero. He is one of the few who can go toe-to-toe with the leader of the corps. He will not use underhanded tactics in combat.

Background

Rogan is regarded as new hero of the state. He leads the 'Phenomenon Unit' which are regarded as radicals. He is dissatisfied with the state of the corrupt parliament of North Ambria and the leadership of Glark Grommash, who have remained silent on tensions with Erebonia.

Northern War

Rogan stands up and calls for a new revolution, as he states the heroes of the old revolution are all dead, and the Empire of Erebonia will surely target them next after annexing Crossbell.

Ultimately, he chooses to overthrow both the North Ambrian Parliament and the leadership of Glark Grommash, viewing both as corrupt and outraged over Glark's goal to use archaisms to conquer the whole of Zemuria. As his troops overrun the Parliament, he orders some to subdue Lavian Winslet. Lavi escapes and attempts to warn Glark, but she and Rogan find Glark dead.
