Lyra Barton (ライラ・バートン) is a childhood friend of Nayuta Herschel in The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails.

Appearance

Lyra is a fifteen year old girl with lilac eyes and short, auburn hair tied with a hairpin. She wears a blouse made up of many different colours and fabrics: black for the most art with a red and pink trim, a yellow geometric pattern, loosely worn cream sleeves tied with red ribbons and a yellow shawl with a jagged pattern hem, also tied with pink ribbon. A sailor's collar tops the outfit off. Lyra also wears a short white pleated skirt, white leg warmers and brown shoes.

Personality

Lyra has an unrequited crush on Nayuta, but is too afraid to confess her feelings. She's also has bad temper and is easily jealous whenever knowing there's another girl who has a close relationship with Nayuta. As time goes on, she learns to calm down and is not afraid to do things by herself.

The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails

Lyra lives on Remnant Isle and is a childhood friend of both Nayuta and Cygna. They spent their childhood in happiness.

After Nayuta and Cygna arrive from their four-months-long journey, Lyra is seen confused about how she will greet Nayuta in front of his house. Nayuta, who comes from her behind, asked why is she confused. Lyra just blushes and spontaneously greets Nayuta and calls him "Nayutaman". Nayuta replies to her normally, which resulted in her dismay. But before Lyra can speak further, a meteor crashes on the northern coast, interrupting their conversation

Lyra remains on Remnant Isle and visits Nayuta frequently on his return from Lost Heaven.

• Following Nayuta's astronomical theme naming, Lyra's name is a reference to the constellation "Lyra"- the Lyre.
