사유

Sayu (サユ) is a member of the Wanderers of the Woods in Archer Shunran.

Profile

Appearance

Sayu is a girl with lightly tanned skin, pale eyes and dark grey hair compared to a snowy sky. She wears thin clothing unsuited for the cold weather on White Peak. She is is armed with a crossbow, but also carries the Tube of Condensed Sky, an artifact.

Personality

Sayu is described as being great at taking in information from different sources and putting it together. She is intelligent and works in harmony with her tribe's ideals.

Background

Sayu is a descendant of the Wanderers of the Woods. She and her cousin, Dao, whom she refers to as a brother, act on behalf of the Septian Church to locate and retrieve Artifacts from where the church has little jurisdiction.

Archer Shunran

Shunran Aysen saves Sayu from a pack of wolves and is soon drawn into a plan that will benefit two interests, Shunran's own desire for resolution and catharsis against the Raijuu and the Wanderers of the Woods's aim to retrieve an artefact, the Lightning Blade. By working with Shunran and her brother, Dao they eventually succeed in their aims after careful strategy and preparation. All the while, they are hunted by a geomancer, described as a demon who also seeks the artifact.

Sayu decidedly works out the true nature of the artifact and re-assembles it, using it to defeat the geomancer.
