| As a man, Taikun strongly resembles [[애런 웨이]] with long red hair and slim yet athletic build. As a demonic entity, Taikun is a tall humanoid figure with charcoal gray skin covered in dragon tattoo-like markings, an ornate mask, long flowing scarlet hair and elaborate tattered hakama with scale armour plates and tassels. Taikun has large reptilian feet and claws.

| A prophecy exists that every 40 years or decades to centuries, an absolute power would emerge to lead the easterners to new heights. This individual could help, guide and subordinate all easterners, including Heiyue. It is described as a ruler, soldier, liberator and leader, a man gifted with extraordinary charisma surpassing all mortals, and a demon. His title was held with awe and dread.

| Approximately 40 years before {{g|Kuro}}, Taikun ruled over the area around [[Langport]] with an iron first from his throne in the [[Hei Long Stronghold]]. This was the period following the [[Orbal Revolution]] and he led with remarkable skill. It is thought that the prosperity of easterners and their increasing influence was due to his impact. [[Heiyue]] and the [[Yin]] of the time were both under his command, with [[졘 루]] being a survivor. Taikun had the third [[Oct-Genesis]] under his possession.

| Taikun's rule eventually became corrupt. He single-mindedly made just decisions, but they were devoid of any emotion. He created what he thought just to create, and destroyed what he thought just to be destroyed. He became so inhuman that it seemed he even had control over his own soul, a true Demon.The Republic's government intervened, but even they could not stop him. Fear began to gnaw away at the Glimmering City. He used the [[Septium vein]]s to suppress his people. One of the consequences of his reign was the existence of supernatural mists that allowed demons to exist, not unlike [[Pandemonium]]. The demons are said to have been invisible and drained people of their life force. Opponents that he kills would be turned into ghouls under his control.

| After growing too fearful of Taikun's tyranny, Heiyue's elders of that generation could withstand the fear no longer and betrayed their 'master'. After a deadly battle, Heiyue and Yin imprisoned Taikun within a cell in the Hei Long Stronghold where he remained until he died in solitude. The Genesis was sealed away with him.

| The elders influenced the population to spread rumours about the Stronghold to keep people away from it, stating it was filled with fiends and demons.

| [[Almata]] use the third Genesis to reactivate the memories of the Hei Long Stronghold and force 애런 웨이, who is deemed to be the reincarnation of Taikun, into the entity. they succeed partly in fact due to Gien conspiring to let them get hold of the Genesis in order to obtain Taikun and have him lead Heiyue into a new age.

| Taikun initially lashes out at [[Viola]] and [[Alexandre]] due to Aaron's residual memories. [[반 아크라이드]] and the party confront him and after Aaron has an internal battle with Taikun, he reverts back to his human form and ends his rampage.
