Court fencing (宮廷剣術(きゅうていけんじゅつ)) is a preferred swordsmanship style for nobility in Erebonia. It is considered a graceful yet powerful and agile style that relies on the use of a one-handed sword. Prominent practitioners of Court fencing include Jusis and Rufus Albarea along with Cedric Reise Arnor.

An emphasis on arts casting may be a part of the style, as Jusis and Rufus are both proficient arts casters, in contrast to practitioners of other swordsmanship styles like the Vander and Arseid schools, who rely more on physical strength. This is proven by the fact that Jusis is more proficient in arts casting than his classmate Laura, and Rufus uses arts in combat unlike most in-game bosses like Victor and Aurelia. Cedric casts arts less frequently, but incorporates fire into his attacks, suggesting that the style may just involve mixing swordplay with magic.
