Remnant Isle (残され島) is a small island in the centre of the Sea of Ciencia. It can be reached in approximately half a day by ship to reach it from Saint-Elysee, a port city located on the continent.

Background

Remnant Isle has become known for a strange phenomenon that ruins and stars fall from its sky. It is even believed that Remnant Isle itself was formed from ruins that fell from the sky. Star Shards, a mysterious ore, can be found at the place where these stars have fallen. Star shards are known to respond to the seven colours of light.

• Following the Astrological theme naming of Nayuta, the Mayor's name is a reference to constellation: 'Serpens', the serpent. The rest of the Island's inhabitants also have names following this theme, for example:
  • Cook Gruz- a reference to 'Grus', the crane
  • Canie- a reference to either 'Canis Major' or Canis Minor', the greater or lesser dogs
  • Merchant Antlia - a reference to the 'Antlia', the air pump
  • Antlia's daughter Ursa - a reference to either the constellation 'Ursa Minor' or 'Ursa Major', the greater or lesser bears
  • Watchman Dorado - a reference to 'Dorado' the Swordfish
  • Sculp - a reference to 'Sculptor', the Sculptor's tools
  • Bootie - a reference to 'Bootes', the Herdsman
  • Blacksmith Columba - a reference to 'Columba', the dove
  • Carina - a reference to 'Carina', the keel of the Argonauts' ship
  • Bell - a reference to 'Vela' the Sail of the Argonauts' ship
  • Captain Puppis - a reference to 'Puppis', the Stern of the Argonauts' ship
  • Sailor Crux - a reference to 'Crux', the southern Cross
