| Auguste was a man with light-coloured long hair which was tied up behind him. Several strands covered his face, which usually held a stern countenance. He wore formal clothing typical of time period of the Calvardian Kingdom, with a long-tailed coat, waistcoat and cravat.

| August was a firm believer in his ideals and a strong advocate for change in Calvard. He was a renowned philosopher and was willing to fight fro his beliefs, even taking radical action where necessary. however, his actions also led to despotism and conflict with those he called allies.

| Auguste was a philosopher at the time of the Kingdom of Calvard. He was one of [[Sheena Dirke]]'s prominent allies and joined her cause at the time of the Democratic Revolution in order to further his own ideals and ideologies. After the revolution was successful, Auguste's ideals came into conflict with his comrades and he fell into despotism. After a brief conflict with the newly emerging Republican forces, Auguste was defeated and subsequently executed for his crimes.

| Through an unknown process and despite the physical death of his body, Auguste's consciousness was preserved by means of an [[Artifact]] in the possession of the [[D∴G cult]]. He lived as a parasitic entity within the cult and its eventual integration into [[Garden]] until he was finally able to gain a body to inhabit- a clone of [[Ace Rayne]]. He harboured a deeply rooted resentment of the way he was treated by his former allies and plotted to correct the course of history to remake Calvard, and the world, in his image. From this point on, he referred to himself as the [[Garden-Master]].
