The 2nd Area Division (第02方面師団), also known as the Armored Aviation Regiment "Canopus" (空挺機甲部隊《カノープス》), is a division of the Republic Army of Calvard.
Background
The 2nd Area Division was responsible for the invasion of the Imperial Territory of Crossbell in March S.1205.It was able to hold off the 9th Armored Division of the Imperial Army until the arrival of "Riserva" the Panzer Soldat Unit of the Imperial Army's Crossbell Branch. The arrival of the Ashen Knight Valimar forced the 2nd Area Division to retreat to the outskirts of Altair.
